The Migration Policy Institute (MPI) released a new report, "DHS and Immigration: Taking Stock and Correcting Course," assessing the performance of Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), as well as overall Department of Homeland Security (DHS) immigration policy. It offers detailed recommendations for policy and operational changes that could be accomplished by the executive branch without legislation.
